Purpose: The poster illustrates the effect of ARIEL technology on the average turnaround time of document delivery.
Setting: The Biomedical Library serves the needs of researchers at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an institution specializing in finding cures for children with catastrophic illness through research and treatment.
Methodology: Analysis of data collected over a four-year period on interlibrary loan requests. Data is maintained in an Access database.
Results: Turnaround time showed an improvement after consistent use of the ARIEL software was implemented and the Docline profile was changed to list ARIEL as the preferred method of delivery.
