This Professional Development report gives the course name,
instructor's name and affiliation, and a composite evaluation
score derived from the MLA evaluation forms submitted after
each class. A score of 7 would be perfect.

- I loved the M & M exercise! Good way to bring together knowledge. I would
like a copy of Nunzia's part.

- The study design section was very helpful. Nunzia's presentation was necessary
to understand and lay groundwork for EBM. Thanks to all for a great class.
- Very well presented and interesting. I was afraid it would be very heavy
on statistical methods and epidemiology. This was much more understandable.
The M & M exercise was delicious and helpful and article critique was very
eye opening.

Building and Managing Your Digital Library

- Instructor did an excellent job. Lots of useful information. More food & drinks
would have been nice.
- One of the best CE courses I've taken!
- Slow at beginning, fast at end. Some problems with room-lawn mowing & people
using as pass through -passers by might have been diverted by better signage.
Map & site needed better instructions.

- Good Ce course.- Not enough time to complete exercises.
- Really needed hands on; very thought provoking. Would like to see as a
1 ½ or 2 day class.
- None
- This course was more applicable to academic libraries. However, there were
good ideas and nuggets of information that can be used in a smaller setting.
- Some information is too technical for the basic library attendees. Nice
to know what the terms mean but got lost in the complete explanations.
- More time spent on topics-needs to be pared down & more focused. Less "techie" tips.
This was more introductory/overview than I expected.
- Time was spent too loosely in the morning causing the evening to be rushed
and practical exercises to be left undone. I think this to be absolutely
untenable. Instructor needs to manage his time much better. Because of the
length of the course today participants hands-on exercises are a MUST. The
one exercise done was useful (in the morning.)
- Lots of examples on academic settings. Not applicable to my job. Ask people
to bring to class some documents which have needed these documents. Lots
of examples given, useful to instructor but probably not ever useful to a
majority of the class.
- Instructor distracted by personal life change; thus, we learned more about
immediate past employer's environment & future employer's environment// we
simply lost too much time in a.m. * Attendees also rambled i.e. 30 minute
discussion of copier systems on campus libraries * Timing was not the best//
at the end of a long conference ½ [day?] workshop would be my only
recommendation.
- Content was much too academic oriented, therefore less useful for a hospital
setting. The last two hours were most useful-please give them more emphasis
time wise.
